Earth Day - celebrate the world

On this day, you celebrate the world you live in and on, and you consider ways you can live in better harmony with her. Spirit has been urging you to take greater care of her, your world, your home and cherish what she gives you rather than abuse her. For your world is part of the divine feminine, part of the nurturer and creator energy - giving you what she can, constantly transforming and changing to keep up with your needs.

Your world has a delicate ecosystem, of which you are part, and it is sadly out of balance some of your making, some not. But as the more evolved energies on your world, it falls to you to govern and redress the imbalance. She needs your help. Your world is tired, overworked and often taken for granted. When you feel taken for granted and tired, you withdraw, give up, cease to do; why should she act differently? But she does. She tries to continue and tries to maintain the balance.

On this day, marking your world, stop and think. What are you doing to help her? What could you do? Even the smallest act creates a ripple that grows and grows into a tidal wave of change. Today, look at your life and see what small changes you could make that you can stick to. This is not about money; this is about respect. Respecting this beautiful planet and the life it gives you every second of every day. It is a gift.

Make one small change today. Do something to show her you care, and she will return it to you tenfold.
