Master Chou said - You are told to speak your mind. But often your thoughts are not your own. They are ego or fear and do not need to be given a voice or be shared. In response he was asked - Whats a good way to reset our thinking? - I thought hisreply was really interesting.
Dear Friend,
Hmmm reset, why? You are where you are, acknowledge that something has caused the shift in power. A reset, would not accept the lesson or resolve the trauma or issue, it would overwrite it and that could lead to having to recreate it.
Stand in your power, your ability to choose and discern. Ask questions and challenge yourself and your thoughts. You need to act. You need to take control. The sound of the thoughts are also different and if you listen carefully you can tell the difference. For instance, thoughts from the ego or fear are controlling, limiting, demanding and judgemental.
Your own mind tends to speak in a neutral voice, factual and calm, it delivers ideas and information it does not urge. The ego will urge but so will your Soul, the sound is very different. The Soul holds no judgment, it will not demand though it may be blunt, it is clear. The voice of your Spirit Guides is encouraging without judgment or flattery.
Every thought has a voice, listen and learn the difference. Remember they are just thoughts you can ignore them, choose to not act, that in itself is an action. Lastly, remember to breathe, your ego and fear do not like this, that rush of oxygen that allows the brain to work and the mind to pause then think.
Inhale, exhale, listen, choose, act.
Blessings
