Kindness - this simple word carries so much power. The power to heal, to create and to elevate. You take yourself for granted all the time; looking to comfort others before self but this is not good. Be kind to yourselves first; from there kindness will flow to others effortlessly and with sincerity.
Being kind to yourself is not hard but it does take practice. Start with something simple - glaze at yourself in a mirror and smile and feel that smile reflecting back to you and touching your heart. Allow yourself what you need, without guilt, be that a piece of chocolate, an hour spent pampering your body or something that brings you joy.
Kindness is also infectious and one act creates another. Do not let guilt stand between you and kindness. Remember a little kindness is more powerful than a lot of guilt or fear.Kindness is the path to self-love; you can not have one without the other.
Be kind to yourself and move one step closer to loving yourself.
